In a move that can only leave you shaking your head, the NRA has awarded FCC chairman and Trump lap dog Ajit Pai, the "Charlton Heston Courage Under Fire Award". The award is literally a custom made, long gun.

The American Conservative Union's executive director says Pai "saved the internet" and is the most courageous, heroic person that he knows, after Pai reportedly received death threats after ramming through his decision to overturn net neutrality protections. Pai was about to speak at the CPAC convention when he was 'surprised' with the award.

So, at a time when the country is hurting from the recent mass shooting in Florida, the NRA decides to give out more guns.

Of course, there was no mention of Pai being under investigation for some possibly shading dealings with Sinclair at the awards ceremony.
