Can Someone Explain This?

Stations are always trying to come up with new ways to attract viewers. The Deathstar station in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, WBRE-TV, came up with a promo for their chief meteorologist Josh Hodell. But what is the message?

OK, we get that it's a spoof on Forest Gump. Apparently, Josh also likes to run? Funny, ha ha, on the 'follow' reference for social media, but what's the message for the viewer? If they have to stop and figure out all these things, it becomes ineffective.

The bottom line is this is a stupid promo that has no viewer benefit whatsoever. It says nothing about whether Josh knows what he's talking about when it comes to forecasting. But then, maybe the station doesn't care and is just looking for 'followers'.
