Wait a Minute!

Back on May 2nd, FTVLive told you that Scripps owned WCPO (Cincinnati)  told viewers that they should boycott the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals.

In an editorial, the Scripps owned station urges viewers to boycott the Bengals after it drafted the running back Joe Mixon, who punched a woman in the face in 2014.

FTVLive even praised the station for taking such a stance against the powerful NFL.

So, we were more than a bit surprised when WCPO proudly reported that Traffic Reporter Jaclyn DeAugustino was just named a Bengals Cheerleader for the team.

Yes, the same station that told viewers to boycott the team, now has one of their own employees working for the team.

"The finals were open to the public, so that was nerve-racking! I have to admit I was a bit nervous since it has been about three years since I have performed. I was so thrilled to find out that I was one of the 28 women selected," DeAugustino said on the station's website.

So much for the boycott.
