New ND to Be Named in Philly

It's been quite a while since CBS O&O KYW parted way with News Director Margaret Cronan.

FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you back in July that Cronan was out and the search was on for a replacement. 

While CBS has been saving big bucks not having to pay out the News Director's salary, sources tell FTVLive that the station is getting close to naming a new news boss. 

Insiders tell FTVLive that the odds-on favorite to get the gig is John Wilson.

Wilson is currently the Duece at the station and many feel he's going to get the bump up.  

Look for some sort of announcement either way, very soon.
